Re: The Flaming Lips! « Result #1 Yesterday at 12:08am »
saw them last night, over here at the wellmont and... for a long time, i always said lightning bolt was the best show i'd ever seen. but after last night, i think they have been one-upped. they've completely changed their live show. no more rolling around in a plastic bubble, no more balloons, no more dancers on stage. it's all been replaced by sadness and THE BEST MOTHERFUCKING LIGHT SHOW ON THE PLANET!. all the pre-recorded backing tracks have been replaced by a few extra members on stage and they're only playing the new stuff and the heavier/slower stuff on this tour. plus they did a cover of bowie's "heroes".
go see this tour if they're playing your area. you will not be disappointed.
"footwork". He just came out with a new album and this is a track from it.
check the prev page, I posted a dl link to one of his older mixtape/albums! footwork is fun, see traxman dj if you can!
check out mike paradinas too, he runs a label that introduced a lot of the non-Chicago world to footwork, he has a bunch of mixes up if you search on mixcloud... I remember there's some really weird stuff in the last 20 mins of this one
Woah so Zach Hill isn't taking part in the current EU tour! A couple weeks ago I found out they're playing at a local festival, but the tickets were sold out and I would have had to get a day pass for $80+, and none of the other bands playing that day interest me, but I was this close to caving in for some expensive Death Grips action. So so glad I didn't, now.
Still I hope to see them one day. MC Ride live is something everyone should see before they die (and before he becomes burnt out).

I just remembered I went to his film screening a couple months ago! some really good stuff, there was one based on looping little fragments of sesame street that was hilarious, and a lot of beautiful nature stuff on film towards the end. and also got to see that Forcefield one with the crazy red and black and white lines, the cutting-through-claymation one. would love to find more of his comics, I've only seen one page in an anthology.

I dont know much about this guy other than he's helped create a dance technique called "footwork". He just came out with a new album and this is a track from it. EXCELLENT video to compliment the music.

5/19 next weekend NYC, some beats & noises « Result #20 on May 12, 2013, 5:15pm »
I booked/am playing this show - focused around experimental dance music, there will be an opening noise act, some guitar that doesn't sound like guitar, some crazy fast stuff at the end... yeah!
it's at The Delancey, 168 Delancey St Manhattan (very close to Essex St J/F/M). 21+ (sorry ), $7, doors at 7:30, will go until 1-3 depending on the crowd/the venue. and oh yeah it's on Sunday!

May I ask you a question? I hope people will understand me because I'm Russian and I find it difficult to Express thoughts because the translation is very bad, your mask Brian Chippendale has, you can demonstrate it to the picture I just need to figure just because I want to draw in the project of the White bg.

rediscovering this fun stupid track from the first electronic album I got, which came out like 20 years before that! weird in retrospect that I heard this one, even considering I lived in Arizona and was too young to know any ravers.

Eel River next to the Happy Cows pasture across from Riverside RV, highly recommended for overnight in Fortuna, directly off 101 past all the motels in The Golden Land of the Happy Cows.

Hey all,
Long time listener, first time caller. Just popping by to see if some generous soul might be able to re-upload the Lil Scuzzy EP; been after it for some time, and all the above links have died!
